Testimonials

The apartment was ideal for what we needed and would happily
use again when next visiting Bath.

Herschel Heights was a wonderful accommodation in Bath, the perfect size for my family of three, and much closer by foot to the downtown core than I expected, with a lovely walk right over the Pulteney Bridge! The accommodation was incredibly clean and neat, and fully outfitted to the level of luxury, with yummy treats and basics (like cereal, milk, and cookies), all the appliances you could need for longer stays, and lots of touches of home including movie and book collections to suit Bath and its history. The accommodation has slightly tricky locks, and as an "attic" apartment has some lovely sloped ceilings, but one must be careful in the kitchen not to hit one's head! Communication was easy with Marcus as our guide, and he met us on our first day to welcome us, and make sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. In terms of amenities, Waitrose is an easy walk within 10 minutes by way of Henrietta and the bridge, and Bath Abbey, the Baths, the Pump Room, and the shops on Milsom Street an easy 12-15 minutes, max. I highly recommend this accommodation for a comfortable and easy stay

We had a great time in Bath, the flat is lovely, we had all we needed and the location is perfect for town centre. We liked the flat book too with all the info on the restaurants and services in town, it was very useful.
We'll try and stay at Herschel Heights again in future.

Thanks. We had a lovely stay. The apartment was modern, clean and had everything we needed for our short stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. Great to have had the free parking so close to the city centre a short walk away. We would recommend and stay again

We had a wonderful time in Bath and the apartment was in a great location for us to walk to the city centre. The henrietta park at the corner with its sensory garden was lovely to rest in after a busy afternoon out.

The apartment was also on the bath Bristol cycling route which was a delight.

We enjoyed the complimentary goodies and to have the washing machine, dryer and secure parking added to our comforts.

Your assistance and promptness to get us oriented and checked in was appreciated.

Many thanks for a very comfortable stay in a beautiful apartment. We had everything we needed, and more - we particularly enjoyed the extras (wine, coffee and chocolate) and the excellent choice of DVDs. Our daughter Catherine celebrated her 18th birthday with a holiday she'll always remember.

We had a lovely stay at Herschel Heights, a beautiful apartment in a perfect position for exploring Bath. We were warmly welcomed by Olivia ,who provided us with lots of useful information.
As the apartment was on the top floor we also appreciated the peace and quiet that this provided.
I would not hesitate to recommend Bath Holiday Rentals .

My friend and I stayed here during our recent trip to Bath. It was easy to make the arrangements in advance. Olivia met us at the building and showed us around. We appreciated the welcome package containing basics like coffee, milk, wine, cookies.

The apartment is on the top (3rd) floor of the building. The lift reaches the second floor. Everything in the building and apartment seems newly renovated. The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable. The bathroom is large with a heated towel rack and good shower. The apartment is clean and quiet. The clothes washer works well, and there is a dishwasher. They have even included a set of Jane Austen DVDs for watching. There is good parking on site.

The apartment is located about a 10 min walk from the center of town, near Henrietta Park. A beautiful and quiet neighborhood.

The only downside is the mechanism of payment (but this is minor and I would stay here again). You have to pay the entire stay about a month in advance, including a security deposit. There is an extra fee to use a credit card, but that is the most convenient option for overseas guests. The security deposit was refunded about two weeks after departure.

Another great Bath Holiday Rental's Apartment (my 4th or 5th). Very quiet apartment in good location being 10 minutes walk from the centre but with a few locals shops to top up the supplies. Internally everything was as described and worked well without any issues. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

My wife and I very much enjoyed our 7 night stay at Herschel Heights. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we wanted. Herschel Heights is a cozy flat atop the soft quietness of Bath! My sisters and I felt right at home from the first moment we walked in, and the homy feeling made us so welcome on our first visit to Bath. The flat is warmly decorated and inviting. The master bedroom has a lovely view of the Bath architecture, the bathroom is very spacious with hot water at all times, the small bedroom is quite comfortable, and the living and dining area were big enough for the three of us. We loved the kitchen--well equipped, good lighting, and with a nice welcome basket! thank you. The bookcase in the living room has a nice movie library and a good Jane Austen collection. We couldn't make the tele work to our liking, but I'm sure a tech savy person will figure it out in no time.
A couple of electricity convertors were provided as well as kitchen and bathroom supplies. The washing machine worked perfectly too, so it was a little home away from home!
Thank you to the staff for their kindness and for making our stay in Bath such a pleasant one!

The apartment was very cosy and nicely furnished. It had everything that one would need for even a long stay in Bath and felt like home. It also has a great location, close to the city center and two very nice parks. Overall, I was very impressed by the apartment and would recommend it to anyone planning to stay in Bath.

Herschel Heights Dimitar - 2014-07-08
Me, my wife and 8-year-old daughter stayed here 5 nights in February 2014. We found the apartment to be ideally suited to our needs. The apartment was very clean (a big plus for my obsessively clean Italian wife!), tastefully furnished and contained everything a family could need. The beds were really comfortable with good quality sheets and covers and an abundance of extra pillows and duvets should they be needed. Both bedrooms had closet wardrobes with ample amounts of space and with places to even store our rather large luggage cases which really helped to de-clutter the place. The kitchen was well-equipped and had a good range of knives and cooking pots and utensils - and a dish washer. We also appreciated the bottle of wine left in the fridge for us!
The little dining table was comfortable for 3 people. There was a good selection of dvds including lots of period dramas which are very watchable when staying in the city of Jane Austen. The bathroom was spacious and both the hot water and heating worked perfectly.
All in all we really enjoyed our stay and felt that it represented excellent value for money - I'm speaking from experience, having stayed in many vacation rentals until now. The attention to detail was excellent and we would most certainly stay here again when we return to Bath.
Thanks Alexa for a lovely stay.
