The Georgians did their entertaining on the ground and first floors of the town houses. Therefore these floors generally always have beautiful high ceilings, floor to ceiling windows and stunning Georgian architecture and cornicing. This property doesn't disappoint with any of these aspects. In the lounge there are 2 two seater sofas as well as a couple additional arm chairs, plenty of tables and lights, floor to ceiling windows overlooking Russel street and Georgian architecture and an original decorative marble fireplace which now houses the flat screen smart TV with Netflix and also a DVD. Also on this floor is the kitchen and dining area.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need to cook a lovely dinner. There is a single oven, 4 gas hob burners, dishwasher and a combination washer/dryer. A flat screen TV rests on the counter top and there is a side board for additional storage. A table with 6 chairs (which will be replaced with a beautiful dark wooden set in July) overlooks the back garden. 3 large windows ensures a lot of natural light into this room.

Stairs leading down take you to the 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one of which being an en-suite), the door leading to the 2 tiered courtyard garden.

Bedroom 1 is located at the back of the house overlooking the garden. It is a peaceful bedroom and has a 4'6" double bed, built in wardrobe, chest of drawers, side tables and an en-suite shower room. The shower room is equipped with a shower, basin and w.c.

Bedroom 2 and 3 are located at the front of the apartment. Bedroom 2 has a 4'6 double bed, small wardrobe, chest of drawers and 2 side tables. Bedroom 3 has twin beds which can be zipped together to made a 5' double. Please note, the beds are 2'6" wide when separated so slightly narrower than the standard 3' wide. You will also find bedside tables and lamps, a small vanity table and stool as well as built in wardrobes with hanging and shelving space.

The family bathroom is located in the hallway outside the bedrooms. It is a spacious beautifully tiled bathroom with hand basin, w.c. and bath with shower over.

The fabulous courtyard garden is accessed from this level. It is a 2 tiered garden with a table and 4 chairs positioned on the lower level for those who prefer the shade. Then a set of stairs takes you up to the upper tier filled with lovely greenery, a long bench, along with table and seating for 6.

You are surrounded by some of Bath's most stunning Georgian architecture and Bath's famous landmarks, The Circus and the Royal Crescent, are only a couple minutes walk away. Close by is the Royal Victoria Park where you can enjoy miniature golf, tennis, botanical gardens, hot air balloon trips and a children's outdoor play area.. Museums and galleries abound with The Fashion Museum in the Assembly Rooms and The Museum of Bath at Work around the corner. The city centre is less than a 5 minute walk away with a great choice of shopping and entertainment and many more historic sites to explore. There are exceptional restaurants on the doorstep. Dine at The Olive Tree across the road (Bath's only Michelin star restaurant) or The Circus Restaurant on Brock Street.

You have a mini supermarket a minute's walk away or Waitrose in the centre a 5-10 minute walk. A couple of streets away is George Street which is lined with restaurants, galleries, night clubs, shops and wine bars. Milsom Street branches off George Street and is Bath's main shopping thoroughfare, leading down towards the Pump Rooms, the Roman Baths, Thermae Spa and Bath Abbey. Whatever you choose to do, shopping, sightseeing or entertainment, most pursuits are a pleasant stroll of about 5-10 minutes away from your apartment.

Parking we suggest either Charlotte St car park which is about a ten minute walk away or make use of Lansdown park and ride. The Bath Spa train and coach stations are only about a 15-20 minute walk away.

The property was well presented, clean and well-equipped. Easy access to the town centre. The host provided an easily accessible guide with recommendations for things to do, places to go, local restaurants and supermarkets. A welcome pack included milk, tea, coffee and biscuits so we were able to settle in for the night. The area was peaceful and easy to find. The flat was also quiet with a secluded outdoor area for an early morning coffee before heading out. Wi-Fi is also included which came in handy as cell phone reception was intermittent (maybe due to the thick walls). Bath is a beautiful city and when I visit again, I would definitely choose to stay at this property again. I would highly recommend a stay here. It’s perfect for a family staycation or a small group of friends. Loved it!

We had an amazing time in Bath, the property was perfect for 6 ladies on a birthday weekend and within walking distance of every where we needed to go. The weather wasn’t great on the day we arrived and we wanted to get into the property earlier to drop our luggage. Bath Holiday Rentals were really helpful and were able to make this happen. We dis lots of lovely city walking around the beautiful architecture, canal and river. Alexa had some great recommendations - you should definatly head to Corkage - great food, service and ambiance and buzzing on a Monday night! The apartment is beautifully proportioned and would happily house 6 adults with a rare 3 large doubles and good bathroom, kitchen and living room space. Searched quite hard to find that kind of space which along with lovely period spaces and a couple of outdoor eating options which mid September worked made our family short break. Thanks Alexa!

After 2 changes of date at the last minute we where changed to Russel Maisonette. Access was simple with help a phone call away. Accommodation was lovely, spacious , comfortable sociable sitting area, beautifully furnished and decorated. Ready supplies of milk, tea, coffee, biscuits, chocolate and wine really most thoughtful and appreciated-not a big thing but felt welcoming. Perfection ! We spent 3 nights in this stunning home. A group of 6 friends Alexa’s maisonette was better than we could ever have imagined. No expense has been spared in this luxury home. Arriving in the evening to find the house lit with fabulous table lamps throughout. 5 star appliances, beautiful artwork, best quality bedding and an absolute impeccable attention to detail. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here. The home is very spacious with the 3 bedrooms downstairs along with an en-suite and a family bathroom. The large living room and kitchen/ dining room are upstairs on street level. In fact the maisonette, despite being part of a larger building, is itself the size of a large 3 bedroom house. It’s really central on a quite, select chic road. I’d love to return in the summer months to enjoy the 2 private terraces that come with the home. Just beautiful.

“The maisonette was well presented. The downstairs bedrooms were nicely presented and coped with the excessive temperatures well. The hospitality was excellent including being welcomed to the property promptly by the agent. The location was amazing, pretty much at the centre of all of the activities, very close to the tourist bus routes, very close to a lot of the central attractions. Parking was appropriate, including a central parking permit. Large choice of restaurants of notable quality and variety. Walking distance into the city centre. Overall the location contributed to a very nice few days in Bath.”
