Week Farm Manor is an idyllic 17th century manor house. Its handsome frame evident in original flagstone floors, deep window reveals, ancient oak beams, warm polished stone, rich oak floors and elegant carved stone fireplaces and staircase. Large traditional rooms have been refreshed using contemporary natural fabrics in linen, sea grass and soft blues. Every room appears light, airy, beautifully presented and immaculately furnished.

The Kitchen

The entrance is very stylish and an exciting prelude to this beautiful house. But let's begin at the heart of every country house, the kitchen, which is vast and yet exudes great warmth and character with original flagstone floors, oak beams, deep window recesses and French doors onto a sweeping terrace. Along one side, is an impressively long dining table to seat 14, (with additional seating if required) punctuated by a large elegant dresser. On the other side is a huge Aga with a smart shaker style fitted kitchen, topped with slabs of black granite. At the centre is a giant island of solid wood, with storage and electric oven. The Aga has 2 ovens, a warming drawer and two hot plates. Alongside is an electric hob, a large fridge and separate freezer. A separate utility has laundry facilities and is smartly fitted with rows of extra storage cupboards and contains a wine cooler, microwave, washing machine and separate dryer, with the addition of an airing cupboard for laundry. Doors off the utility lead to a copious boot room with hanging rail and shelves and also a pretty cloakroom with hand basin and WC.

The Ground Floor

It's a joy to open the double doors into a sunny south-facing morning room overlooking terraces, lawns and clipped box. A large original fireplace is stacked with logs and kindling for chilly evenings. Two deep button-backed sofas piled with cushions seats 8. On the other side is a TV and DVD media unit with a couple of plush tub chairs with footstools to seat 2.

A picture lined corridor lit by a glass skylight leads to the striking entrance lobby, with doors leading into a formal living room and library. The stunning living room has a large stone wood burning fireplace with carved pillars, and mirrored alcoves. There are two large sofas to seat 6 and two leather wing backed chairs for another 2, antique coffee table and bowls of orchids. A handsome library with elegant ornaments has a TV and DVD, double sofa bed, easy chair and another working fire to snug beside with a good book.

The Bedrooms

Summary of bedrooms is: 3 double bedrooms, 3 bedrooms which can be either superking bed or 2 singles, loft room is superking or 2 singles plus a further single bed in a separate area and a single sofa chair. There is also a sofa bed in each of the library, games room and in one of the double bedrooms.

On the Ground floor beside the kitchen is a gorgeous sage green and red double bedroom with a luxuriously upholstered 5' bed, a large antique style wardrobe and dressing table and easy chair.

On the first floor the Master bedroom is gloriously elegant and spacious, with two south-facing window seats looking over manicured grounds. Decorated in a similar style as the ground floor with oak floors, sea grass, linen upholstery and pale blue accents, it has a 6' bed which can split into 2 singles if needed, a chest of drawers, a sofa to seat 2 and an easy chair. An original stone arch leads down to a lavish dressing room with a double antique style wardrobe and dressing table.

The large indulgent, travertine tiled en-suite is in period style with a free-standing Bath (with shower handset), a separate shower, a large hand-basin, easy chair and shelving stacked with fluffy towels.

The Second large bedroom is sumptuous with an upholstered 5' bed, a large antique style wardrobe, dressing table and alcoves with shelves. There is an original cast iron decorative fireplace and a window seat overlooking the south facing grounds.

A charming cream and white traditional bathroom under the eaves is tiled in travertine and has a bath, a vanity unit set in an alcove with hand basin and WC.

An adjacent wing on the First Floor has three more smart traditional styled bedrooms and is accessed from another staircase (or via the master bedroom)

A picture lined lobby with exotic botanical prints leads to the first spacious twin room. In cream and pale blue with sturdy painted furniture with oak tops, it has two 3' beds (which can be zipped together to become a superking size bed), a large semi-wardrobe with drawers under, a little dressing table and pin-striped tub chair.
The second large twin room in cream and pale green is similar, with two 3' beds (which can be zipped together to become a superking size bed) and a sturdy wardrobe with shelves under, and a tub chair.

There is a pretty cream travertine tiled bathroom with a bath (with shower over), hand basin, sparkling mirrors, storage shelves and WC.

The final bedroom, handsomely dressed in pale tartan, is a long spacious double with windows on two sides with lovely views of the valley. There is a 5' king bed at one end, and a large wardrobe, small chest of drawers, double sofa-bed and easy chair at the other.

A large cream and travertine tiled en-suite bathroom has a bath (with shower over), a hand-basin and WC with a deep window reveal providing lots of shelf space.

The second floor bedroom is a fabulous loft style room, with oak beams and clever dividing walls that subtly conceal a dressing room, another cosy bedroom and a large bathroom, whilst retaining the full length and breadth of the impressive roof. There are two 3' beds that can zip and link to become a 6' double and a large chest of drawers with a TV and DVD, a sofa to seat 2 and ottoman. Semi-concealed behind a papered room divide of green and gold wisteria, is a large open wardrobe with shelving, a dressing table and easy chair. In one of the corners of this room concealed by a partial wall is a pretty room with 3' single bed plus an additional small single sofa-bed allowing the loft room to sleep up to 4 guests.

The spacious contemporary en-suite bathroom has a free-standing bath (with shower handset), double hand basins, long shelves for storage and a WC.

The Games Rooms

The spacious barn now has the aura of a gentleman's club. It has been transformed as an indulgent games room and living room, and can be utilised as a guest suite. Two black leather chesterfield sofas to seat 6 are in front of a large TV with DVD. A large dresser holds a selection of games, with the addition of an old favourite, table football. A double sofa bed sits beside a wonderfully crafted travelling case that doubles as a mini wardrobe. A useful kitchenette has a sink, small fridge, kettle, toaster and storage cupboard. There is a large contemporary travertine tiled bathroom, with a large walk-in shower, hand basin and WC.

Outside, on a raised deck with lovely views all around, is a huge sociable 12 seater hot tub, big enough for everyone. Outdoor seating and a bbq have been provided to help you maximise the use of the lovely grounds.

The Grounds

Week Farm Manor is set on the slopes of the lush green Coombe Hay Valley with lovely views of surrounding hills, woods and grazed pastures. There is the merry sound of a bubbling brook at the bottom of sloping fields. The grounds have lawns, terraces, walled gardens and formal gardens of clipped box and shrubs. High stone walls with buttresses flank the side of the house, enfolding the barn and log stores. The earliest settlement here was in Roman times when the southern slopes were planted with vines. Beginning as a cottage, the house expanded over the centuries to become an elegant manor house. It is rumored that King Charles 2nd stayed here for a week in 1651 whilst on the run from Oliver Cromwell.

Bath rentals were brilliant in arranging our weekend away and were on hand throughout the booking process start to finish with very informative non pushy sales team who really added value to our experience.
Week Farm Manor Michael - 2019-06-24
Thank you so so much for all you did for us!!! Between you, Wendy and Siobhan we had the most wonderfully perfect long weekend celebrating!

The house is absolutely amazing, I fell in love with the kitchen, it is certainly the heart of the house and we all gravitated to that area and the terrace! The house is huge and so much more than I expected. Everything was perfect - every detail taken care of - from extra toilet paper in every toilet, to enough towels for showering and the hot-tub, no detail was missing.

Truly it was the most wonderful place and we loved it. The service from you and your team was 5* !!

Thank you again, we very much look forward to using your services again in the future.

Week Farm Manor Jacqueline - 2018-09-10
We had the most wonderful time at Week Farm Manor. There were 20 of us on a hen do from all around the UK. The place was perfect and so beautiful and decadent, the highest quality. I definitely think it must be one of the most beautiful large holiday rentals in the UK and we've been to a few. It's about 10 mins cab into Bath (£12) if you wanted a night/afternoon out, however i'd suggest you don't need it as Week Farm is that nice, you'll just want to take full advantage of the house. On the Friday we arrived late afternoon to a gin bar organised by the bridesmaids, ate outside on the lovely long table (plenty of room for all 20), then did a sunset Jacuzzi followed by a greatest showman/pyjama party.

The huge kitchen/living room area is very spacious for everyone (the social areas are much bigger than the photos depict!). The outside is just gorgeous with areas to sit and chill, if you're lucky enough to have the weather, which we did. It's set back off the road with not many buildings around so you don't need to worry about noise, we had the music on into the early morning hours. On the Saturday they organised a private chef for the night and we sat outside all evening drinking wine and eating until 1am then continued the party inside. In my thirties so this is my kind of hen do!

The bedrooms are very spacious even the nursery and the other 'smaller' rooms and the beds very comfortable, all amenities are top spec. Showers great etc. There's everything you need in the kitchen to cook/serve a large group. We did a big cooked breakfast on the sat morning and it was no bother because everything was there to use including a lot of condiments so don't bring much!

You can tell a lot of effort and pride goes into the up keep of the property, with lovely attention to detail and certainly no cutting corners. Finally, both Alexa and Wendy were wonderful with any questions we had or details we needed to organise. Swift responses and no fuss.

We were slightly cautious about the price before we booked but I would say it's worth every penny and more! I had the best time here and wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay.
Week Farm Manor Helen - 2018-07-19
We had the most amazing weekend staying at 'Week Manor Farm' celebrating my hen do. The house is absolutely beautiful hidden amongst the most amazing surroundings. We were lucky to have picked such a beautiful, sunny weekend which also helped. Making use of outdoor space & hot tub. I will be recommending this property & most likely visiting again. I couldn't fault it. The décor was stunning, & I arrived back home wanting to re decorate my whole house because of it.

Thank you again for the best weekend.
Week Farm Manor Becky - 2018-05-02
Incredibly beautiful house. Wonderful stay The house is more like a 5 star country hotel than rental property. Beautifully interior designed with everything you could ever ask for. Mangement and concierge team that look after the properties were incredibly helpful & attentive

Week Farm Manor Sarah - 2016-10-24
Just wanted to thank you for a wonderful weekend away at week farm, please tell the owner we had a fantastic time and his house is amazing!
Week Farm Manor Sarah - 2016-10-19
We had a fabulous stay at Week Farm. The perfect property for a big group of adults - spacious, luxurious and with stunning garden and views. It's really close to Bath but it's incredibly peaceful and feels like it's in the middle of the countryside. They have really thought of everything to make your stay luxurious and special - we appreciated the toiletries, extra towels for the hot tub, extra blankets on beds. A truly special place. We'd return in a heartbeat!
Week Farm Manor Lizzie - 2016-07-16
We had a wonderful stay at Week Farm. The house is beautiful, spacious and well equipped with everything you'd need for a memorable weekend. The house is perfectly located, really close to Bath but in a secluded spot with stunning views across the valley. Thanks for a great stay, we loved it and hope to return.
Week Farm Manor L D - 2016-07-04
We had a great time and was a perfect place for a birthday weekend for my wife's 30th. Great house with everything you need, stunning views, cracking local pub with an adventurous countryside walk and 'LARGE' hot tub to drink champagne in! We do like these breaks and this is one of the best we have had for the money, scenery and accommodation. One of our friends enjoyed it so much there looking to plan the next social occasion!

Thank you for a great stay!'
Week Farm Manor Nigel A - 2015-02-23
We would just like to say what a truly wonderful time we had recently at Week Farm Manor. We stayed with all my family to celebrate my 50th birthday. Everyone from young to old had a brilliant time. The house is simply stunning - just as gorgeous as it looks in the photos. Wendy met us and couldn't have been more helpful. We even braved going in the hot tub (several times). Our only very small comment is that the dining/ kitchen chairs are very hard to sit on for any length of time and there is no heating in the downstairs bedroom. That said you would be hard pressed to fault anything else.
Week Farm Manor The Clark Family - 2014-11-25
We had the most amazing weekend at Week Farm Manor. The house was absolutely perfect to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday. All the family were able to spend the whole weekend together and week farm made it extra special. We would definitely recommend this place for a special occasion.

The house is so beautiful and relaxing that none of us wanted to leave on Sunday and could easily have stayed forever.

Hopefully we will get to return one day.
Week Farm Manor Zoe C - 2014-11-13
Quality is the word, the decor of this stunning property is sheer quality, stayed here with 16 Gentleman on a Stag weekend, (Very brave to allow this) but the sheer elegance of the accommodation made everyone respect everything about the property even more, cleaner than a lot of hotels I have stayed in, great value, would love to stay in this property again. Its a credit to the person who put this all together.
Week Farm Manor Jeff S - 2014-10-03
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Week Farm Manor, it really is the most amazing property, exquisitely decorated & very last detail was thought through to perfection. The assistance and guidance provided by Wendy was also fantastic and I would thoroughly recommend the property & Bath Holiday Rentals again.
Week Farm Manor Nicola S - 2014-09-08
Just wanted to say that we all had an amazing time at Week Farm manor. It was even better than it looked in the photos. Thank you so much.
Week Farm Manor Gerald - 2014-08-11

I stayed at Week Farm Manor for a wonderful weekend with 11 of my nearest & dearest Family & Friends in February for my Hen Weekend. The Manor is absolutely stunning and the photos really don’t do it justice. There was no squabble ever of which was the best rooms as they all are. There was plenty of room for all of us and the kitchen/diner was absolutely lovely where we enjoyed a delicious meal with all of us pottering about in the kitchen and then sat round the big table. The stay at the Manor was amazing – so much so that I came back early on Saturday from Bath to enjoy the surroundings. It’s like a boutique hotel but all yours for the weekend!

I’m already thinking of when I can go back as I missed out on jumping into the hot tub! Although I have now sent to link to so many other people – I think booking in advance is advisable!
